This page outlines the official CopyDash policy for the use of AI tools in our content development process.
CopyDash believes that the value of AI tools is defined by the ethics of the human using them. This is our standard 4-point code of AI ethics for our copywriters, copyeditors and research team.

All AI response text comes from a collection of sources. There currently isn’t any “net new” content coming from generative or conversational AI platforms. We believe copying and pasting AI responses is inherently plagiarism, and we don’t do it.
If our copywriters use AI in your content creation process, they obtain citations for any fact-based or data-based research. Then, we cross-reference those citations using a non-AI source. Those citations are then double-checked by the copyeditor assigned to that project.
Generative AI is a great tool to quickly summarize any existing assets and media you already own. We may use AI to summarize transcripts, interviews and other existing branded content assets. All content written about these existing assets will be 100% net new.
If CopyDash content writers and copyeditors can’t independently verify information obtained from generative AI, we don’t include it in our content deliverables. Full stop.

We believe high-quality content adds value to readers’ lives. SEO friendly content must also be user friendly content.
